Building Stability, Layer by Layer.
The DryStack Foundation is dedicated to creating resilient systems and lasting structures that support our community’s future.
Drystack Foundation exists to create digital and physical infrastructure for municipalities. At the town level to and County level.
Currently small towns rely on proprietary blackbox digital infrastructure. This is expensive and the town's data is stored on Far away corporate servers. Drystack allows the town to own it's data, the servers that the data is on and the software you use to access the data. DryStack gives towns corporate grade asset management software and commercial grade encryption. This allows the town to manage its assets, debts and resources in a highly sophisticated auditable and trackable way.
DryStack provides transparency for the citizens and the surrounding communities. This functionality allows towns to better manage their resources, better enact the will of their population, and to better communicate important issues with their population. Independent of any proprietary technology or Networks.
The Dry Stack Operating System (DSOS) is a specialized, municipal-grade digital infrastructure designed to provide local governments with absolute technological sovereignty and long-term resilience.
Built on a memory-safe Rust-based microkernel, the system replaces the vulnerability and planned obsolescence of commercial software with a "capabilities-based" architecture that secures town ledgers, communication mesh networks, and administrative assets at the hardware level. By utilizing a unique "Sovereign Lease" protocol paired with physical Tillitis TKey authentication, the OS ensures that municipal authority remains tethered to human intent, creating a "Living Vault" that is portable across hardware grades—from ruggedized steel field units to high-security administrative slates.
Dry Stack is not just a tool for one town, but a universal standard for any municipality seeking to reclaim its data, protect its citizens' privacy, and build a digital foundation as enduring as its physical infrastructure.
Interested in collaborating or supporting our next initiative? We are looking for partners who value integrity and long-term vision.
The Goal To implement a scalable model for [Resource Management/Community Development] that prioritizes longevity and accessibility for all participants.
The Story Every great structure begins with a single, well-placed stone. This project was born from the need for a more modular, adaptable approach to rural municipal infrastructure. By focusing on the "dry stack" philosophy—where every piece supports the next without the need for temporary fillers—we are creating a blueprint that can be replicated across different regions.
